Originating from the culturally rich city of Osogbo, my childhood was steeped in the vibrant tapestry of Yoruba tradition. Culture wasn't a spectator sport; it pulsed through every aspect of life – the narratives etched on street corners, the historical echoes in our festivals, and the silent pride woven into our clothing. My most cherished early memories revolve around my father, a figure of Yoruba dignity. His presence, marked by the elegance of his tailored bùbá and sókòtó, often completed by the intricate artistry of an Aṣọ-Òkè cap, instilled in me a profound understanding. His attire wasn't merely fabric; it was a powerful expression of identity, inherent dignity, and a living testament to ancestral pride. He carried his heritage not just regally, but with a timeless grace. This early admiration blossomed into a deep passion, which in turn, became a clear calling. Today, that calling is the very essence of our brand. We are more than just creators of clothing; we are storytellers who weave narratives of heritage, pride, and contemporary sophistication into every piece.
This project involved the complete design of a bespoke brand identity for a luxury tailoring brand. The goal was to create a visual and physical experience that reflects the brand's commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and personalized service, while also offering a seamless experience.
The design was inspired by the elegant aesthetics of high-end fashion, using a refined color palette of deep ivory, rich charcoal, and subtle gold accents. I focused on a minimalist layout that emphasizes the brand’s bespoke services and craftsmanship. Large, high-resolution images showcase the intricate details of the tailoring process, while custom typography evokes a sense of sophistication and tradition.
